2003 Dues are due.
|

The club operates solely off revenue from the dues and the horse show. Last year we lost money on the horse show and the BOD and the Play Day helped offset the loss. The club tries to promote the Appaloosa horse through the Prairie Classic and the booth at the SD Horse Fair. We generate income through the Show Program, the Prairie Classic, and the dues. Last year we added the Play Day and we hope the weather allows us to have 2 this year to generate more income. The Horse Fair booth is staffed by volunteers who generally decorate the booth (from their own pocket) as well as staff it for 2 days. The National Club will only give us their promotional fliers - Journals cost $1 a piece. If you have ideas for a fundraiser, please contact Stephanie.

Lori Richards is handling the booth. Her email address is [email protected]. She would like pictures of club members using their Appaloosa horses. She will laminate the pictures on posters and display them in the booth. (Pictures are non-returnable.)
