Winter Social:

Everyone is invited to attend our Winter Social. It will be on Saturday, February 16, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sleep Inn motel on Russell & Kiwanis in Sioux Falls. We have rented a meeting room and the kids (or anyone who wants to swim!) can swim in the swimming pool or have access to the game room. The meeting will start at 3 p.m. and the adults have to attend that before hitting the other two rooms! Potluck will follow. So bring munchies and something to pass for supper (plus your utensils and plates). If you have any questions or need directions, contact Diane Nickel.

6th Annual Prairie Classic

It is official - we will be renting the brand new MultiPlex in Brookings to host our show June 15-16. The SD State Fair Office allowed the Quarter horse Association to rent the Hippodrome on our date. We tried, but we couldn't get the Hippodrome on June 15-16. If we wanted the show in Huron, we had to reschedule our show. After looking at all the options, we are going to move the show to Brookings. The MultiPlex is roughly one block east of the interstate. This will be the first horse show held there. This is going to be so great!!! But we will need lots of help. Plus ideas on how to make this the best show ever! We will also be going over the show bill at the Winter Social. If you can't attend the meeting and really want a class, let a director know.

The SD Horse Fair is March 29 and 30

Sue Kulp is handling the booth this year. If you have a stallion to advertise or farm promotion materials you want displayed, talk to her. Lynn Palm is the featured speaker this year.

Let me know when the babies start coming! Send me (either with mail or email) all the pertinent information - mom, dad, coloring, sex - and I'll put it in the newsletter. Also horses bought or sold.
