My time here is up, I’m being called away to a better place,
 your sweet kisses are the only thing that’s kept me here this long,
 but now they are gone, I’m so sorry, my beautiful girl,
 my time has came, it’s beyond my grasp, too many tasks, 
all of these fears, don’t shed any tears for me,
 I’m going to someplace new, so please don’t cry,
 I’m gonna miss these sweet goodbyes

Hey you my friend, this is the end,
 all of our good times, when we made rhymes,
 they meant everything to me, so sorry to see, 
that they will stop, I’ll have one last drink,
 before I drain down the sink, in memory of what was,
 how many years has it been? That we’ve been friends?,
 too bad it has to end, time to say goodbye, you’re my friend,
 and I don’t want to see you cry

As my time slowly runs out I realize what it’s all about,
 I can’t go through with this, I couldn’t stand,
 couldn’t stand to lose these sweet goodbyes,
 or ever to cause to you to cry, 
I could never miss these sweet goodbyes
