Always looking up, never looking down,
 you see the bright side of everything,
 when I can’t see the bright the side of anything,
 it’s all down from my point of view, but you
 /chorus x2/ why do have to be so damn optimistic?
 Seeing thing in the positive light, you won’t even fight, 
why do you have to be so damn optimistic? Don’t stop,
 nobody’s missed it , you your so optimistic/ 
nothing is that good, maybe you should ….see something as bad as it is
 don’t find the good in me,
 no one can see, not off all of us are so so sooooo damn optimistic,
 be like the rest of us, find what’s wrong with the world,
 so /chorus x2/ stop thinking the world is a better place,
 stop loving everything you see, everything you do,
 just stop being so… optimistic
