Is there a point to Religion?
Look at all the different Religions. In case you haven't noticed, when people take about "their" Religion the seem to be talking more about an excuse for their way of life rather than there spiritual beliefs.
Take these for example:
CATHOLICISM:
"My parents made me..."
BUDDHISM:
"To achieve inner peace..." *yeah,
right
HINDUISM:
"Because no matter how many times you screw up you always get
a second chance..."
Rastafarism:
"Because you get to smoke pot..."
Satanism:
"He lets you do what God calls 'sins'..."
Atheists: "Don't believe in any of this and live their lives with what credit card companies and car salesmen call 'no-strings attached'..."
As you can probably tell from my last statement regarding atheist I tend to favor the "religion" that is not a religion at all.
