This was a small musical based on Arthur Schnitzler's "La Ronde". (Its the same play that had the naked Nicole Kidman). This isn't an easy musical to take, its sexually frank, and LaChiusa's music and lyrics are stunning in their syncopated discordance. The cast of this small workshop musical has gone on to great things- Malcolm Gets (Caroline in the City, A New Brain), Donna Murphy (2 Tonys and a Star Trek Movie), Carolee Carmello who made a stunning star turn in "Parade", John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig & the Angry Inch), Michelle Pawk (Cabaret), Judy Blazer (Titanic, Mamaloshen).
