Mordor Bound
(Sing to Homeward Bound by Paul Simon)
I'm waiting in an elven nation
And I know my final destination
On a quest away I ran, with just a magic ring in hand
And no bright future can be planned for a Hobbit and his little band
Mordor bound, I wish I wasn't
Mordor bound
There where the fire's hiding
There where the ring wraith's riding
There where the dark lord's waiting silently for me
Every day's an endless drain
The dark ring calling out my name
And each town is so strange to me
The dwarves and elves and men I see
And every ring wraith that I flee
Reminds me that I have to be Mordor Bound
Mordor bound, I wish I wasn't
Mordor bound
There where the fire's hiding
There where the ring wraith's riding
There where the dark lord's waiting silently for me
Tonight I'll bear the ring again
Just Sam and me,we can pretend we're brave
But Gandalf's words come back to me
In frightened shades of mystery
Like Gollum's fate in dark I see, I need someone who's strong for me
Mordor bound, I wish I wasn't
Mordor bound
There where the fire's hiding
There where the ring wraith's riding
There where the dark lord's waiting silently for me
A Crazy Flame of Darkness
(Sing to: Hazy Shade of Winter by Paul Simon)
Time,
Time,
Time, Hobbit you'll look at me
While I offer you some harsh possibilities.
I see what no one sees.
Look around,
Hopes are down now
And my eyes have a crazy flame of darkness
See the Salvation in your hand.
There in my father's hall
Must be better after all
Than what you've got planned.
Takin the ring to that land
And look around.
Hopes are down now
And my eyes have a crazy flame of darkness
You want what is best, my friend.
That's an easy thing to say,
But if you fall into his way
Then hope has to end, the dark one will be whole again.
Look at me,
I am strong,
Chances ripe,
It's the birthright of my line.
Kings must take opportunity;
Don't be baffled by sorcery.
Won't you stop and consider me
At any convenient hour?
I could simply take the thing
Just give over the magic ring
I'll rule with the power
I'll challenge the dark one's tower,
I look around,
Hopes are down,
And my eyes have a crazy flame of darkness
Look around,
Hopes are down
There's another orc coming round (3X)
(Sound of bowstring)
Me and Legolas Chopping the Orc Heads
(Sing to: Me & Julio Down by the Schoolyard by Paul Simon)
Elves can dwell in Rivendell
But dwarves come to their nation
When the Wizard came by he began to cry, that the races need co-ordination.
And I don't like elves, And he don't like dwarves
But the Wizard saw, that we could both fight wars
The elf bowed low and picked up his bow, every time he fells a beastie
With an axe in my hand I can still make a stand and my total is sure to beat ye
And we're on our way
We don't know where we're going
And we're on our way
Sauron the dark Lord you'd best beware
Goodbye to Frodo The Ring Bearing Hobbit
Just Me and Legolas chopping the Orc heads (2X)
After traveling South to the river mouth our ways must soon be parting
Now the quests at end and the elf is my friend and our travels are just now starting
And we're on our way
We don't know where we're going
And we're on our way
Sauron the dark Lord you'd best beware
Goodbye to Frodo The Ring Bearing Hobbit
Just Me and Legolas chopping the Orc heads (3X)
Isengard
(Sing to: America by Paul Simon)
Come cousin Hobbit we'll go seek our fortunes together
I have some elven bread here in my bag
So we joined with Frodo's fellowship, with Gandalf at our side
And we travelled to battle at Isengard
Merry I said as the orcs took us captive in Gondor
Rivendell seems like a dream to me now
It took a fortnight to travel through Moria
And we go to battle for Isengard
Talking with the Ents
Trading songs with old Treebeard
He says that Hobbits are things that he never has known
We say be careful we might say the same about Entwives
Hand me some Lembas I think there's still some in my elf cloak
We ate the last one an hour ago
So we look at the forest guard
As they tear down the walls
And the trees grow over the wizards tower
Pippin we've won I said as we waited for Strider
No more will we be the young hobbits we were
Counting the men as they march over Rohan
All go to battle for Isengard
The Wizard
(Sing to: The Boxer by Paul Simon)
I am just a wizard, though my name is widely known
I have travelled from the Northlands with a bag of simple magic, such are fireworks
All fire and dust, still a wizard does the things he must
And disregards the past (hmmmm....mmmm......)
When I left my friends in Moria, I was no more than a man
In the company of Hobbits
In the chasm of the orcs and Balrogs falling fast
Thru the fire, purified by darkened waters, where the orcs can only go
Looking for the stairways only they would know
CHORUS:
TRAVELING ON
THRU THE DARKNESS AND THE NIGHT
TRAVELING ON
COMES A RIDER WEARING WHITE
AND I'M TRAVELLING ON
Seeking only to fight Sauron, I come looking for a host,
But I get no comfort....
Just the vemon of the wormtongue man of Theoden
I do recall better times when rings and minions could not turn the hearts of kings-
(li la la, la, la la)
Now an army's riding with me, and once more I go my way
I am stronger than I once was, and more tired than I seem, that's been my lot in life
No it isn't strange, after wars and elven kingdoms, times are more or less the same
After ages upon ages times are more or less the same.........
CHORUS
And I'm ridng out on Shadowfax, wishing I was gone, blowin smoke
Where the wolves and orcs of Saruman aren't bleedin' me, leadin' me to blowin smoke
In the tower sits a wizard, and the white hand was his name
And he led his brother mages, til the darkness out of Mordor turned him evil
As he whispered to his conquerors in vain
Follow me or face the dark lord, cause the darkness still remains
Still remains
CHORUS 2X
Mordor, I'd See No More
(Sing to: April, Come She Will by Paul Simon)
Mordor, I'd see no more
When lands are dead my heart's in pain
Ring, hide my sting
Til Frodo's in my arms again
Doom, Can't come too soon
In endless toil we journey on
Gamgee will not fail thee
At least until our story's done
Gollum, his end must come
With greedy hands he saves us all
Shire, my desire
To see my garden ere I fall
I Am The King
(Sing to: I Am A Rock by Paul Simon)
Another day
In a deep and darkened forest
I am Aragorn
Wanderin from my kingdom much too long ago
As an ancient darkness now begins to grow
I am the King, I am the Strider
I come from Kings, a lineage long and noble
That none may denigrate
I have no need for stewards, ruling in my stead
The Kings of old must come back from the dead
I am the King, I am the Strider
Don't talk of love, well I know my elven lady
The Evenstar's in my memory
I will not claim my fair one, until I win my throne
Without her love, I'd rather rule alone
I am the King, I am the Strider
I have my sword and its forged again beside me
I am shielded in my armor
Riding into Mordor, Ranger nevermore
I lead the way and no one's leading me
I am the King, I am the Strider
And a King reigns again
And the age of man begins
