| a little while ago, people were pissing and moaning about how kids should or shouldn't have to salute the flag in school. so far i have only had to salute the flag once and that was be cause a sub decided we had to. half of the kids (including me) didn't know the words to whatever the hell the salute was supposed to be. anyway, such a stupid argument can only be setteled one way. we have to change what we salute. my sugestion is ham. almost everybody likes ham except for vegitarians and jewish people and in thier case they could salute to tofu ham or turkey sausage. saluting ham will instill a new sence of pride among the people because they know that everyone would be willingly looking up to the same idol (putting aside religion). who wouldn't want to salute ham? not only that but ham is a more apealing icon. let's compare. ham flag edible yes no delicious yes no fun yes no more than 3 colors yes no smart it was at one time never animate biodegrateble yes probably not magical in its own way yes no well there you have it. ham is in every way better than our current icon. i will not rest until the ham is declared the national icon. or at least a flag with artificial ham flavor.....aw screw it i don't want to put that much energy into it. poon with a spoon out. |
