2 stages of proposal and consent are required - Precautionary Measures (hoarding, shoring, safety, etc.) - Demolition Consent application with technical details. |

| Hoarding Plans for Sub/Super-structure Works | a road excavation permit is required from the Highways Department after a Hoarding Permit is obtained. | |
| Site Formation Plans |
Site Formation Plans usually supported with excavation plans, ground investigation report and other geotechnical assessment reports. |

| Piling Plans |
detailed information of Piling Plans depends on the type of foundation used, other information and plans such as pile cap plans, site investigation report, performance review and other geotechnical assessment reports are also required. |

| General Building Plans |
general layout of the a building proposal, which in turn affects all other plans required to be submitted. |

| Fire Services Installation Plans |
this set of Fire Services Installation Plans is submitted to the Buildings Department for referral to the Fire Services Department to obtain a Fire Certificate required under Section 16(1)(b) of the Building Ordinance. |

| Drainage Plans |
Drainage Plans is submitted to the Buildings Department for referral to the Drainage Services Department for comments. Plumbing plans/diagrams are to be submitted to the Water Supplies Authority directly for approval. |

| Structural Plans |
Structural Plans follows closely the layout of the General Building Plans to show the structural framing and details for approval. Following the approval of the Structural Plans, Structural Details and Calculations are required to be submitted. Consent for commencement of building works cannot be granted until the Structural Plans have been approved. Structural Plans for window walls, curtain walls and claddings are also required. |

| Record Plans |
on completion of the building works, a set of as-built record plans is required to be submitted in order to apply for an Occupation Permit. Record plans for A&A works are also required. |
