Thank you Goddess for the love
That burned away the darkness
As I look into her eyes
I know how much more I now have
Thank you Goddess for the lesson
The tears I cried burned my soul
As my heart was trod upon
But now I have found my own worth
Thank you Goddess for the love
The love of me that allows me to love her
Each time I hold her in my arms
I know now what true happiness is
Thank you Goddess for the lessons
That shape who I am
Thank you Goddess for the love
That rounds the sharp edges
Thank you Goddess for her
I will cherish this gift above all
For now I know just how important it is
And I will protect that gift
As I do my own life
She deserves nothing less
