Someday

Someday she will find me
I used to always think
That I had to find her
But a watched pot never boils
As my grandmother always told me

So now I have chosen to wait
To stop searching for her
For when she enters my life
I will know
As will she
What is meant to be

So now I have chosen to enjoy
My life as it is
Solitude
But filled with interesting companions
I may not be happy all the time
But, then, who is?

As I lay down each night to sleep
Alone on my couch
I think of all that I could have
My enchanting companions
And
Eventually
The loneliness shall pass

For in these times of depression
When I believe I have so little
I can clearly see what I do have
That happiness id right in front of my face
I just have to reach out and take it!
