| Now, Steve Nash is a great player, though he does come from Canada. His shooting is phenomenal for a pg, but he's gonna be competing with nick van exel for time, and Canadians in general are lesser people. Assist leader in the NBA, and on a real team now. Good pick. He's young, healthy and virile. Watch out ladies. He's the greatest player of all time, can leap tall buildings in a single bound, and is great in the clutch. Except that his skills have eroded and he's now a creaky 6th man. Jordan is good, but he's probably a 4th or 5th round pick. Big O'neal #2 is great. Even with the ex-bulls taking some of his stats, he's still doing great plus he's now in his favored PF position. Great pick. This is a clear example of panicking and reaching for a center. Vlade pulled down good stats when Webber was injured, but with C-Webb, Peja, Christie and eventually Bibby to hit shots, this geriatric big man's stats are diminished. One of two good fantasy players in Portland. Sheed will get you good threes as well as PF stats, and Howard's team is almost guaranteed to lead in technicals too. As well he has surprisingly few turnovers. For some reason the 85 year old Karl Malone had 1.9 steals per game last season. Add that to Malone's reliability and his great all around stats, and you have a bit of a steal for late in the third round. The other half of the perpetual Utah pick'n'roll. Did you realize that Stockton's fg% was 51% last season? I sure do, I'm really happy about having this guy on my team. Not only will he bring shooting and assists, but also his regulation sized shorts. Maybe his stats will pick up with Keon Clark in Sacramento, but I don't think he'll be worth this pick now that he has his big $. For a FC, his fg% is pretty awful. Bujustin probably realized he didn't have center yet and panicked. Big dog may take some of his scoring away, but this guy is still a really good producer. As opposed to a consumer for you econ majors. There is a risk of having him being accused of being a terrorist, but otherwise a great pick. He is one of 5 people who score 20+ ppg and have ft% over 80%. Hall of Fame: Arun, Ade, Howard, Jose Hall of Shame: Bear, G |
