| Before the season, nobody really seemed to realize what a formidable team had been assembled in Milwaukee. Redd is the ring leader with his really good scoring and.scoring. Hes one dimensional, but hes good at being one dimensional so good pick.
I viewed Gasol as the only guaranteed good fantasy player on Memphis. They have a deep rotation so everyone else is cycling in and out, except for Gasol who has to stay in so he can score in the post and block shots into the 12th row. I knew I could count on Odom to give me assists. His solid play really shows that the Lakers got fair deal for Shaq. Hahahahhaa. Seriously though, his passing is very impressive and hes probably the only thing that keeps Kobe from flipping out and getting everyone fired again. I figured out with someone that you could assemble an entire team of ugly Duke grads in the NBA. Boozer of course would be the star. I thought this would be a decent pick, though it obviously hasnt turned out that way. I thought Korver was gonna be a great pick. Last season when it came to threes, he had more hits than a huka party. Considering that was as a rookie, I expected big things. Possibly even an emmy. He's dissappointed, though inspiring rap lyrics really raises his value in my eyes. Igloodollar. The vaunted all around player. Personally I like Stephen Jackson better. And Rip Hamilton. And Carmelo. And that really big guy from Billy Madison whos like I promise Ill see YOU in the parking lot. Theres a new Shareef in town. Sactown that is. You dont know how long Ive been waiting to say that. Shareefs a solid gear in the offensive Corvette that is the Kings. Maybe that analogy doesnt work so well, but Shareef will. Except before the season I thought he might split time with Kenny Thomas and so I dropped him in the rankings a bit. I hate the bulls. I dont like Ben Gordon in particular because hes even more one dimensional than Redd and hes not even starting. Also, the bulls have Reichmarshall Hinrich and Chris Duhonovich in the backcourt. As inconsistent as he is, hes great in that hes a big man who defends and hits threes. For some reason whenever I think of Sheed though, the first thing that comes to mind is Grizzled veteran. Good pick, especially with Flip-dog in town. The only reason Carmelo is good is because the thinner Denver air allows him to create a small vacuum above and a build up of air pressure below causing lift. I like Kurt Thomas. I liked him before the season because lets face it, Phoenix needed a center. I liked him more because Nash would improve his scoring. I liked him even more when Amare got knee surgery because KT would get the bulk of the rebounds. As a result, after this pick, I was so unhappy put on a black shirt with a white skull on it, got a bunch of guns and a car and started killing evil doers. |
