| No surprise there. Some questions about how his health since he plays about 50 minutes a game, but yeah, good first pick. Again no surprise. I think yahoo made these first two picks mandatory. Ironically though, Lebron for MVP doesn't end up with Lebron on his team. There are a bunch of possible picks to go with here, but I choose Marion because a) he's an amazing all around player and b) he'll give me 80+ games to Duncan's probably 65-70. I feel like this is too early for AI, but Will luuuuv AI. Iverson is getting more assists because he's being slightly more pgish, but he's still the same old dribble-score-steal machine he's always been. Much as Dallas has seen enormous flux the past couple seasons including just about everyone signing with San Antonio, Dirk remains consistent, dominant and poorly groomed. A fine pick. He'd probably be the #1 pick, but a) his ft% is getting shaq-like and b) his team's gonna be resting him plenty to have him for playoffs. Incidentally, how ridiculous is their roster now. Kobe, again trying to do it all, will score about 40 ppg and will shoot well below his previously typical 46% fg. Get this man some help! Phil, magic him up a Pippen or a Shaq or something. The T-mac and Yao thing slowly started working better toward the later part of the season. T-mac is a fantasy bonanza, playing like a belly danza who's really good at basketball. Man did I want AK. Provided he's not injured, his fantasy stats are sick-nasty (if I may steal an expression). I like Utah for a sleeper this year (again). I'll be honest. I reeaaally don't like the Heat losing the Joneses for J-dub, 'toine and Posey. I don't like any of them, but somehow they'll make a team out of this nonsense. Also Wade is amazing. I really did not think Arenas was gonna be this good. I'm sure the wizards will trade Arenas for a Mitch Richmond-equivalent like Lorenzen Wright or Kenny Thomas. Good pick. |
