A little about Jim:

At the age of 15, he was  totally depressed and suicidal, full of anger and hate toward man and God.  This all changed on June 21, 1975.  On that day, Jim ended up at a prayer meeting he didn't even want to go to.  It was there that Jesus' love so touched him as he sat in the chair at the prayer meeting, that Jim could only accept such a Savior. He became a bold witness to family and friends.  He went to Bible School, and then on to pioneering a small church in the 1980's for five years.  Then through trials, hurt, and growing pains, Jim slowly rebuilt a spiritual foundation again.  During most of this time, he was an active member in a local church. Then in 1998, he started BibleFood Devotional (www.biblefood.org), which has grown from 3 to 6700 members and keeps growing daily.

Currently, Jim is an active member in his local church and works with their outreach ministry. In May 2002, he shared his vision of "Christian Pool Players Association" with some fellow pool players. Then on June 22, he officially began  "Christian Pool Players Association" on the Internet. Now, at 43 years old, he has a fresh excitement about the LORD's plans for him in the ministry. He is very excited about CPPA, and is also playing in local tournaments and taking lessons from a BCA Certified Instructor.

Jim loves one-on-one evangelism and discipleship.  When he teaches, he teaches from the Bible on practical Christianity that can be applied to your daily Christian walk.

Jim is available to speak at churches, Bible studies, youth groups, etc.
