Ricky is now 16 months old
(though developmentally speaking he is 7 months).
He is still not walking nor scooting around but can bear weight on his legs and stand up with assistance. He can now also finally sit without help, actually pulling himself up to sit...YAY!!
He is still not talking much only babbling when he wants to, mostly after meals :) But he is very communicative through is facial expressions!!
He loves to dance (while sitting he will sway back and forth to the music, very sweet!!), laugh, and just cuddle!
He is EMG and most of the genetic tests came back fine, just awaiting results of another urine genetic test. MRI came back ok for the spine and still awaiting word for the brain, but my doctor said over the phone that it "appears" to be ok, but she is waiting to confer with the pediatric neuro before telling me for sure. However the MRI showed another problem -- one of his kidneys are swollen and so we now need to do a ultrasound of his abdomen ASAP :( So probably another doctor will need to be seen - a urologist.
