At Olivia's 9 month check up I got a mix of good and bad news.
Good news is she is REALLY GROWING WELL!!! She is almost 29 inches long, which is well above average! Her weight is not so bad, around the average (50%) mark at 18 pounds, 12 ounces.
Overall she is doing well, she just has the usual feeding/digestion problems.
I finally got her doctor to give me a referral to a feeding clinic so I can get to the bottom of this.
Olivia still only drinks max 4 ounces of milk at a time and still only has mostly pureed foods as regular food or textured foods make her gag and/or throw up.
We were lucky and got to the feeding clinic a couple weeks after her checkup.
At the clinic they suggested that alot of her problems were behavioural though did say that she may have a "small tummy" or a tummy that is slow to digest the food. So I am waiting to hear from a GI to have a milk-test done, an ultrasound where they have her drink milk and they see how it goes down. Not sure what all that means, but when I have the test done I will update :)
Oh, one more thing, she is low on iron (had blood tests done) and is now on 2ml a day supplements for at least 1 month.
That is it for now!!!! :)
I will hopefully update with 9 and 10 month photos soon!
