*** OLIVIA'S 15 MONTH UPDATE! ***

(technically she is 16 months tomorrow! Yikes!)

My little princess sure is getting tall!
She is outgrowing her pants, but not her tops, LOL..
Olivia is over 30 inches long but still only 22 pounds :(

Olivia is a very happy little camper!! :)
She loves to laugh, loves to cuddle,
and she still loves peek-a-boo!! LOL...
She also loves to clap her hands at any chance!
Olivia is walking up a storm, or rather RUNNING!!
The only problem is her balance stinks :(

Healthwise Olivia is not doing too great :(
Since January she has been sick alot.
The end of January she had major gastro which
wound us up in the hospital for a day
to rehydrate her, that was so stressfull for me!!
Then a month later, in February, she had a bad cold
which resulted in a ear infection (her 3rd since May 2002).
In late March she wound up with a double ear infection,
she had just finished her antibiotics for her first ear
infection and had a high fever and turned out the other
ear was infected, which shocked the doctor as usually meds
stay in your system for 10 days after the last dose....

So off to the Ear, nose, and throat doctor we go...
it looks like tubes are inevitable but the specialist
ordered a hearing and speach test first which will be done
in July I hope, then we go back in September unless more
infections arise, he said if two infections in a month again
come on then to go back right away.

The problem is she is currently sick again with a high
fever and signs of yet another ear infection, I see the
doctor again this week to see what is happening.....

Olivia's feeding problems are still present too...
I still have to distract her in order for her to eat,
she is NEVER hungry, just eats because we shove it at her, LOL..
At the most she will eat half a jar of food per serving,
if we give her finger food she simply plays with it :(

Anyhow..........that is the latest, LOL...
Olivia is proving to be a joyfull little princess,
just keeping mommy and daddy on their toes in every way, LOL...

Will update again as soon as I can!!!!!

*****UPDATE ON OLIVIA'S HEALTH (May 12, 2003)*******

Well we went the doctor today....she has yet
ANOTHER ear infection, in the right ear again...
So she is on Cefzil now (was on zinthromax last time,
which was last month). I am so disapointed...
Looks like tubes is the next thing.... *sigh*.
GOOD NEWS THOUGH...she GAINED!!
Olivia is now 23 pounds, 10 ounces!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!
Here's hoping she wont get more anytime soon!
