Look  Up

Occasionally take your eyes up  off
the ground,
And take the time to look around.
A butterfly of gold and bronze, tulips,
daffodiles and daisies, can be found.
A child running with a kite, or chasing
a ball with colors so bright.
Prettiness of the morning light, or at
sunset a flock of geese in flight.
Roses in bud, or full bloom,
their beautiful aroma fills a room.
The dessert parched and dry, has it's
precious gifts that it hides.
Humming birds buzzing sound, birds
in flight southward bound.
A million wonders for your eyes to see,
to all these marvels you hold the key.
All these gifts are yours to precieve,
if  you just appreciate what
you see.
