Mooresville Cemetary is located on the edge of Wheeler Wildlife Refuge. Though the paperwork we found stated there were over one hundred graves in the cemetary, most were totally overgrown and swalled by the surrounding forest. A small nearly acre lot was clear enough to walk around and as we began to take pictures something unusual occurred. In the trees surrounding the clearing (but still very much within the cemetary) strange lights began dancing between the trees. Some high, some low, some red and some yellow. We observed the phenomenon for about 20 minutes before they stopped. As we began to leave the site, Jeff bumped into "someone". Of course, no one was there... |
