| Starting in the Pony Equitation, Paige Dubrow took the blue ribbon. Alex Arute started her great day with the red rosette in the class, while Chelsea Zulia took third, Caset Green in fourth, Adrienne Sternlicht in fifth, Sam Schaefer in sixth. In the Medium section of the Pony Eq. , Kirstie Dobbs took the first place position, Audrey Coulter taking second and Hannah Goodsen Cutt in third. Sarah Couch took fourth, Hilary Cohen secured fifth while Christina Chapman took the green ribbon. In the Large Pony portion of the class, Lindsay Sceats walked away with the blue ribbon, Micalea Hirsch in second, Lauren Hogan taking third, Kelley Copperwaith taking the pink ribbon with Emily Mehendolson in the sixth spot. | ||||||||
| The Small Pony Hunter division was pretty much owned by one pony rider by the name of Alex Arute and her recently sold pony, 'Winston', Far From Home. Even though they did not pin in the Model, the two won both over fences classes as well as the two 'Best of Small Pony and Medium Pony Hunter' classes. They were on fire! Trust Me and Taylor Harpman won the Model, while Slumber Party and Caroline Spogli took second. Makenzie Baird and Dreamworks took third with Soveriegn and Shaefer Raposa in fourth. Fifth belonged to Toy Story and Nellie Ann Foosanser, with sixth going to Katie Dinan and her adorable small gray pony First Edition, 'Misty'. The overfences classes, belonging to Arute, also had many other phenominal trips. In the first class, Reed Kellser and 'Alexis', Helicon Take Notice, took the red ribbon, with Maggie Gampher and Hillcrest Dancing Bear in third, and the veteran Strike a Pose and new rider, Jennifer Waxman took fourth. Fifth belonged to Lauren Hogan and Hillcrest Blue Snip with sixth going to My Little Dickens and Meagen Davis. The second class was also taken by Arute with the red ribbon going to Soverign and Shaefer Raposa. Third went to Dreamworks and Makenzie Baird with fourth heading to Olvia Esse and Miss Australia. Caroline Spogli and Buffalo Soldier took the pink rosette while the sixth belonged to Strike a Pose and Jennifer Waxman. In the second day of competition, Adrienne Sternlicht and Ingenue, her cute bay small, were topping the charts. The duo recieved the first place ribbon in the Small Pony Conformation Hunter Over Fences class as well as the Small Pony Stake. Alex Arute and her fancy pony came back strong after a great day of performace earlier in the week. They won the Under Saddle as well. In the Under Saddle, the red rosette belonged to Bufflao Soldier and Caroline Spogli, with Meaghan Daivs and the adorable My Little Dickens taking third. Fourth was taken by Makenzie Baird and Dream Works, fifth and sixth going to Helicon Take Notice and Reed Kessler, and Paige Dubro with Hillcrest Pot o Gold respectivly. The Conformation over fences was won by Sternlicht, with the famous Buzz Light Year with Casey Green coming in second, Jennifer Waxman and Cardiff Mardi Gras taking third. Fourth went to Paige Dubro and Hillcrest Pot o Gold with fifth heading to Hillcrest Blue Snip and Lauren Hogan, sixth; Toy Story and rider Nellie Foosanser. The final class, the prestigous Stake class, also belonged the Ingenue, second going to Ahsland Farms Soverign and Schaefer Rapsoa. Third headed to Cardiff Mardi Gras, Jennifer Waxman up, fourth, Kessler and Helicon Take Notice, fifth belonged to Toy Story and Foosaner while Paige Dubrow and Hat Trick secured the sixth position. After two grueling days of competition, Alex Arute and Far From Home took the Devon Small Pony tri-color while Adrienne Sterlicht and Ingenue finished reserve champion. Note: This was the same finish of Arute and Sternlicht at the Hampton Classic! |
