What animal is that?
I don't consider myself to be smarter than most people, but I like to think that I have some common sense, and general knowledge on things in life. Which some people in this world lack.
This brings me to the title of this page. There are times when I wish that I carried a tape recorder or a video camera, just so I could have actually proof of these events. Let me take you back to this particular event. My girlfriend and I decided to go to the zoo. Just something different from the usual dinner and movie routine. So we're walking around this zoo and checking out all the exhibits and animals just like all the other people there, or so I thought. It seems that there are morons among these normal people. Thankfully we only ran into one of them. Sure these morons seem just like everyone else, until they open their mouth that is. This time it was a middle aged woman with either her daughter, or granddaughter. I hope it was neither. We're standing behind this woman and the child at a giraffe/ostrich exhibit. The day would have gone without a hitch had I not heard the woman open her mouth. When I heard what came out of her mouth I had to contain myself from laughing hysterically out loud. At first I thought maybe I was missing part of the exhibit, but after further examination of the exhibit I realized that she was a moron. She crouched down next to the little girl and whispered in her ear as she pointed "look hunny do you see the kangaroo." Now like I said, I'm not the smartest kid in the world, but I sure as hell know the difference between an ostrich and a kangaroo.
After we moved away from the woman so she couldnt hear me laughing, I began to think of the little girl. As we were walking around the rest of the zoo I was realizing that it wasn't funny. In fact it was quite troubling. I should have smacked that woman across the face and corrected her, so the little girl wouldn't grow up to be the same moron. Just think, if no one straightens that child out, she will go on thinking that ostriches are kangaroos because of that moronic woman.
So if you're not one of these morons give a listen next time you're out. You never know what you'll hear. If you do hear anything remotely like what I've just told you do yourself and the child involved a favor, smack the moron talking because we don't need more morons in this world, we have enough.
