TANGY BAKED PORK CHOPS
Serves 6
2 cups water
1 lemon (juice and grated rind)
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
few drops of Tabasco sauce
2 ribs celery, chopped
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup vinegar
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. pork chops or may use chicken
Mix all ingredients, except pork chop or chicken, in a 2-qt. saucepan.  Bring to a boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes.  Brown chops or chicken; place in a baking dish.  Cover with sauce; bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 350 degrees.
