SUMMERTIME GREEN BEANS
1 1/2 lb. fresh green beans
2 tbsp. dried minced onion
2 tbsp. corn syrup
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
Cut the green beans inton 1/4 inch pieces; place in a saucepan.  Cover with water and bring to a boil.  Cover and cook over medium heat until crisp tender; about 10 minutes; drain.  Add minced onion, corn syrup, butter and salt.  Cover and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
