SPAGHETTI SAUCE
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 med. onion, chopped
1/2 lb. ground turkey
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 (14.5 oz.) can Del Monte diced tomatoes, basil, garlic and oregano
1 (14.5 oz.) can Contedina flavored diced tomatoes, roasted garlic
1 small can tomato paste
4 cups water
Salt and pepper to taste
In a large pot, saute onions in olive oil until translucent.   Add turkey and pork and saute until cooked all the way.  Throw in the 2 cans of diced tomatoes and turn the heat down to medium-high heat and bring to a simmer.  Reconstitute the tomato paste in the water and add to the pot.  Taste sauce and season with salt and pepper.  Simmer uncovered until it cooks down to the consistancy you like.
