SKILLET BURGERS
Yields 7-8
1 lb. ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. quick cooking rolled oats
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. chili powder
Dash bottled hot pepper sauce
14-16 hamburger buns, split and toasted
In a skillet cook beef, onion, and celery until beef is browned and onion is tender; drain.  In tomato sauce, oats, brown sugar, Worcestershire, chili powder, hot pepper sauce, 1/2 cup water, 1 tsp. salt, and 1/8 tsp. pepper.  Simmer, uncovered, about 30 minutes or until mixture is of desired consistency.  Spoon about 1/2 cup of the meat mixture into each bun.
