| Onions Potatoes 1 can chicken broth 2 cups flour 1 tsp. black pepper 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup margarine |

| Layer onions and potatoes in a pan. In a saucepan, melt margarine, add flour, salt and pepper. When that is mixed together good, it will form a pasty looking doughy texture. Add the chicken broth. Stir until there are no lumps. I have better luck getting the lumps out when I use a whisk. Anyway, once the lumps are gone, pour the sauce over the potatoes and onions, cover with foil and bake for about an hour. I sometimes brown pork chops in a skillet and place them on top of the potatoes and cover with foil. | |||
