PEANUT BUTTER MAPLE COOKIES
Yields about 5 dozen
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. maple syrup
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup quick-cooking oats
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. (10 oz.) peanut butter chips
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars.  Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.  Beat in syrup and vanilla.  Combine the flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to the creamed mixture and mix well.  Stir in peanut butter chips.

Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls 2-in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets.  Bake at 325 for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.  Cool for 1 minute before removing to wire racks.
