PEANUT BUTTER BON BONS
Yields about 14 dozen
1-1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (Not evaporated milk)
2 lbs. confectioner's sugar
1 (24 oz.) pkg. Eagle Brand Chocolate or Vanilla Flavored Candy Coating, melted and
    held over hot water
In large mixer bowl, beat peanut butter, margarine, vanilla and salt until fluffy; gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk then confectioners' sugar until smooth.  Shape into 1 inch balls.  Place on baking sheets.  Chill until firm.  With fork or wooden pick, dip each into melted candy coating, not coating completely; let excess candy coating drip off.  Place on wax paper-lined baking sheets; let stand or chill until firm.  Store covered at room temperature or in refrigerator.

Tip:  These candies freeze well.
