CRUSTY BEEF CASSEROLE
1 onion, chopped
1-1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 (48 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
1 lb. fine noodles
10 oz. nonfat or low-fat cheddar cheese
Seasoned salt
Brown the meat and drain off any fat.  Add the onions and continue cooking until the onions are transparent.  Add the sauce and heat through.  Arrange casserole, put a little sauce mixture on the bottom, top with 1/2 the noodles, half the sauce, half the cheese and sprinkle with seasoned salt.  Finish with the rest.  Bake at 325 for one hour.  Makes 2 casseroles.  Can be doubled or halved and freezes well.
