CHOCOLATE NUT BALLS
Yields about 2-1/2 dozen balls
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
1 egg
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup chopped peanuts

In a medium saucepan melt semi-sweet chocolate pieces and butter or margarine over low heat, stirring frequently.  Remove pan from heat; cool to leak warm.

Beat in egg until smooth and glossy.  Add sifted powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt; mix well.  Stir in the 1/2 cup flaked coconut and the chopped peanuts.  Chill about 1 hour.  Arrange on a baking sheet.  Chill at least 3 hours or until firm.
