| 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened 1/2 cup shortening 3/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring 1 cup Kellogg's All Bran cereal or Kellogg's Bran Buds cereal 1 pkg. (6 oz., 1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate morsels |

| Stir together flour, soda and salt. Beat margarine, shortening, granulated sugar and brown sugar until well blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients, stir in cereal and chocolate morsels. Drop by level measuring tablespoon onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350, about 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from baking sheets. | |||
