| 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1/4 tsp. salt 6 to 8 cooked sweet potatoes, peeled and halved lengthwise |

| In a skillet, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter or margarine and salt. Bring mixture to a boil. Stir until butter melts and sugar dissolves. Add sweet potatoes; baste with syrup. Reduce heat to simmer. Cook, covered with vent closed, for 15 minutes. Uncover, cook, basting occasionally, for 10 minutes or until potatoes are well glazed. Reduce heat to warm for serving. | |||||
