CABBAGE CASSEROLE
4 cups shredded cabbage
1 stick butter
1 cup crushed cornflakes

Mix butter and cornflakes, place in bottom of casserole dish and then put cabbage on top of flakes.
Mix well the following:

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 can cream of celery soup or 1 can cream of chicken soup (if doubling recipe use both)
1 cup milk
Pepper to taste

Pour mixture over cabbage.
Add the following to the top.

1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup crushed cornflakes

Bake at 325 for 1 hour ( 40 minutes if you prefer cabbage a little crunchy).
