BLONDE BROWNIES
Yields about 48 brownies
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 tsp. salt
Grease a 13x9x2-in. baking pan.  Combine flour, baking powder, and 1/4 tsp. salt.  Melt butter, remove from heat.  Stir in sugar.  Add eggs and vanilla; stir until combined.  Stir dry ingredients and walnuts into sugar mixture.  Spread in pan.  Bake in a 350 oven for 20-25 minutes.  Cut into bars while warm.
