Desart
Here is a cool concept that is pulled off with ease. This isn't a technically or visually complex page, but it is nicely done since the theme is car design and the author designed the page in harmony with the content displayed. The three authors: Bernardo Mexia Alves, Fernando Botelho de Sousa e Gonçalo Botelho de Sousa are the authors of the project.

This site is the first of a series of sites being introduced here that allow visitors to watch short films ranging from comedies to horror and animation. If you are running Internet Explorer 5 and your RealPlayer and Flash players are up to date, just disregard the message you may get from the site. You can see all the previews in the site. Another bonus is that you can become a member and access the whole site for free, and that entitles you to e-mail updates when new content arrives. I tried it and it is excellent. It is like having an ongoing independent film fest at your fingertips.

P.S. - I recommend the animated shorts Humbug and Joyride...really nice, whimsical ideas that are pulled off without a hitch. Be forwarned that patience will serve you well every time you go for these interactive Web experiences. I got on a few times with only one slow day. If you experience slowness just try again later. It's worth it if you like this sort of thing.

A Esfera - An HTML tutorial in Portuguese
This is the best portuguese tutorial I have found to this day, without any shadow of a doubt. Excellent quality both instructionally and visually.

Any Webmaster worth his or her salt has to know how to dig into HTML code and tweak it without the help of any WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) tools. This is the type of tutorial to follow if you are contemplating getting into HTML and will serve you well past the begginer stage. As with everything practice makes perfect, so use it.

mIRC PT 4.01
A portuguese mIRC script that already comes packaged with mIRC 5.6. Visually appealing without going over the top as some others. The only glitch is that the away system isn't working properly, but that should be solved in the near future, I hope.

There are two versions: one with Winamp (MP3 player) and AcdSee (image viewer); and another version without the additional utilities. You may download the basic version using one of the three links provided, or you may download the full version from the mIRC PT homepage, which you may reach by clicking in the mIRC PT logo.

D Film
A really interesting site that allows visitors to create short Macromedia Flash animations interactivelly and e-mail them to friends.
