Chettiar College of Enggineering and Technology. It is one of the very few
government engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu and has a history of over 50
years. It is located at Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu , India and is located next to
the very famous CECRI (Central Electro Chemical Research Institute) and Alagappa
University and polytechnic. It is the result of Vallal Alagappar's dream of
making Karaikudi as the Educational City of Excellence.
Integrity,Industry & Enterprise is the
motto of this institution.
I have done my B.E.(Mechanical Engineering) in this great college.(1994 - 98 Batch). This 4 years in my life is un expressable days. I just enjoyed all type of emotions here. I learnt lot of things what to do and don't. I got un forgettable friends here, still I am enjoying with them like college days.

and one of my well wisher and my great Mr.V.Gopalan (Mech) ,who taught me the
subjects even in the late nights and our
Mr.V.Rajendran(Physics),A.Elango,M.Elango and Somu.
The Moments we conducted the
final year cultural function (Challenging job) , Two N.S.S. camps and won the
college championship in third year sports meets are un forgettable.
