Ø        Took part in the drafting of the Students’ Welfare Authority Strategic Plan 2005-2010.

Ø        Represented students during the strategic meetings of the Students’ Welfare Authority (SWA);

Ø        Was directly answerable to the Director of SWA on issues affecting the students directly;

Ø        Helped to ease accommodation crisis at the University by proposing the introduction of double-deckers.

Ø        Improved the catering services at the University kitchens and improved the quality of meals served in the kitchens;

Ø        Ensured effective service delivery in the University clinics;

Ø        Drafted and presented to the University Council the proposed Comprehensive Medical Scheme for the students for implementation;

Ø        Took part in initiating HIV/AIDS awareness  campaigns among University  students;

Ø        Worked hand in hand with “I Choose Life-Africa” to sensitize the students on the dangers of HIV/AIDS. These activities were sponsored by Family Health International (FHI) and USAID.

Ø        Ensured that for the first time in the history of the University, a full academic calendar passed without closures due to riot stemming from discontent among the students.

·          Supervising Business Examinations at Inter-Compuera Commercial College;

·          Instructing the Invigilators on how to conduct the Examinations; 

·          Collecting Examination Papers from the Central Police Station, Nairobi;

·          Returning Examination scripts to the Provincial Education Office at Nyayo House.

·          Participated in a series of Workshops organized by The Youth Agenda (YA), Citizens Coalition on Constitutional Change (4Cs) and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) onChanging the Political Leadership Culture in Kenya’.
