This is a slideshow that depicts the evolutionary steps in the construction of 2 models of buildings for an "O" gauge railroad layout.
Both buildings are shown in the first slide. The large building is a turn of century school house located in Silverplume, Colorado. The smaller building is a Victorian style retail store in the same community. Both buildings are still in use although the school now houses a museum.
For those interested, the "O" guage scale is: 1/4 inch equals 1 foot.
