After graduation, I went to college at Louisiana College in Pineville, LA. I married while in college. I joined the army between my sophomore and junior year. I served 3 years in the Signal Corp (ASA). After advanced training I served in Turkey. After service, I went back to school and finished my education with a major in Religion and Psychology.

I began my working career with Delta Airlines in 1967. My wife, children and I moved to Houston, TX. After living there for 8 years, my family and I transferred to Jackson, MS. For the next sixteen years, we raised 3 children, Kim, Mitch, and Tres. I worked for Delta and ran a poultry farm.

In 1990, I transferred to Dallas with Delta and continued my education in Religion. While in Dallas, I had an opportunity to go to New Delhi, India and assist with the training of former Pan American employees to the Delta way.

I retired on 1/1/93 with 26 years of service with Delta as a Senior Customer Service Agent. I viewed my lifes work as an opportunity to witness to people that may never see the inside of a church. I saw the airport as a mission field.

My children live in Starkville, MS, Jackson, MS, and Winnsboro, TX. Two are teachers and one works with Nursing Homes. I have 5 grandchildren, 3 girls and 2 boys. The oldest grandchild turned 18 in March and the youngest is 9.

I currently live in Petal, MS (a suburb of Hattiesburg) with my wife, Georgia, and our foster son, Jonathan.

My normal day now is to ride to our farm in Raleigh, MS and play with my big toys (tractors, 4 wheelers, etc.).
