Myron �Ron� Tilghman, 67, Arthur, ND formerly Fargo died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006 in the Good Samaritan Center in Arthur, ND.
Mr. Tilghman was born July 3, 1938 on Long Island, NY to Marion and Adelaide (Miller) Tilghman. He received his Masters degree in Geography from the University of Florida. Ron served in the US Army from 1957 until his discharge in 1962. He married Karen Stevens on May 1, 1964 in Jacksonville, FL, they were divorced later. He traveled extensively throughout his life, including all 50 states, Columbia and Puerto Rico before settling in Fargo 15 years ago. Ron was a free spirit and world traveler who seemed to find a sort of peace in a place called Fargo.
Ron had a kind heart, many friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by one brother, Tom (Billie)Tilghman, Germany; nephews James (Roxanne) Tilghman, Boynton Beach, FL, Kevin (Lisa) Tilghman, Valrico, FL; niece, Cynthia (Charles) Glover, Ft. Wayne, IN; their children, Eric, Ryan, Vincent, Conner and Jared; special friends, Kristin (Scott) Smith, Fargo and their children, Sydney, Gunnar and Haakon.
