Patricia Ann Farrell
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, December 12, 1938. We moved to Deerfield Beach in 1951. I started at Pompano High in my freshman year.
In November 1956, I married Kenneth Wolte and had a son, Kenneth Jr. in November 1957. We added a daughter, Kathleen, in December 1958, We were married 21 years when we divorced.
In February 1979, I married Jimmy Compton and added 4 step children to my life. Together we own a Commercial Refrigeration, Ice Machine and Air Conditioning business in West Palm Beach. During the next 26 years we have been blessed with 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Now that deserves some time to ourselves so we have one of our grandsons-in-law handling our business so we can travel, play golf and fish the waters of Lake Okeechobee.
My claim to fame happened in March, 2004, when I was attacked by a 9 ft. 10 inch alligator. After two operations and lots of antibiotics I am back to good health. But while I was recuperating, I was approached by radio and TV people from as far as Seattle. Needless to say I declined them all.
