James Edgar Caudle (PBHS '56) passed away after a long illness.
After graduation from high school, he completed 8 years service to his country in the United States Air Force. Graduated with a B.A. from Stanislaus State University in California and taught there for 25 years. He and his wife , Linda, also a teacher retired to Hendersonville, N. C. his state of birth. He was 67 at the time of death. He would have been 68 on August 13th, 2005.
Jim was active as a member of the Lions International and served as District Governor. He was an avid golfer and played in the lower 80s. He is survived by his wife, Linda, and four sons, Rob, a professor at the University of Florida, Dana, a businessman in Santa Clara California, Brad, who works in Computer Technology in Redwood City California, and Brian, with the Colorado National Guard.
Jim has been a wonderful example to us all. We will miss him. A memorial service will be held next week in Hendersonville, N.C.
