John Edward Born, Jr., of 207 NE 7th Street, Pompano Beach, died Thursday, 4/5/79. He had been a resident here since 1948 and was formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was employed as air conditioning and refrigeration manager and consultant. He was a member of the N.E.S.C.A. He is survived by his wife, Karen; a son, John Edward Born, III; and a daughter, Kristie Renee Born; two brothers, Wendell A. Born, Boca Raton and Robert L. Born, Deerfield Beach; and his mother, Mrs. David Byrne, Pompano Beach. Private funeral services will be at the R. Jay Kraeer Pompano Beach Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Lions Eye Bank.
