Pomonism as a Meditation
Focusing

Before meditation your mind needs to be relaxed and focused on continuing to relax.  The method to reach this is dancing.  The dance needs to be silent so you can hear your breathing and at times your heart.  Depending on the mood, an aid may be required.  The aid for me is a long staff or curved short bow.  I will dance with the bow using it defensively by twirling it about, swing it in front of me or whatever I feel like doing.  Focusing will continue for about 15+ minutes.  Before and after the dance I will stand and breathe looking around to acknowledge my surroundings.

Sitting

Once relaxation is reached and the mind and eyes are focused on wanting to meditate, you are ready.  Now sit down so that one foot is resting on the other legs knee and the other foot is crossed touching the ground.  When sitting down, a familiar environment is preferred.  My environment is typically a series of candles.  Each candle has its sub-conscious meaning to me.  The candles allow me to travel with a familiar environment so that focusing is easy in places of unfamiliarity.
When I become comfortable, I will let my sub-conscious direct which candles to light and then my eyes will close.  I use to lean forward when I exhaled and lean back when I inhaled.  Breathing was the way I trance into my mind to seek self discover.  After a year of this, my heart took over.  My body now rocks back and forth with my heart beat.  Every beat my body changes in direction on its own.  For someone looking at me doing this, they may not be able to tell that I am moving.  The rocking is fine and noticeable by my necklace countering with my rocking.
After being in this trance for at least 10 minutes, I begin to see a stream of information.  In taking a swim memories will flood into your conscience.  Take the memories and go with it.  The memories will take you to the other side of the stream.
The catch to this is that it may take 3 week of daily meditation, as indicated above, to cross the stream.

Standing
Meditation style will change upon the crossing.  I continue to light the candles as usual but stand in front of them.  With my arms at my side, I will try to lift both arms together, in the wing direction, without using any arm muscle.  Day one of this may only lead me to lift my arms so that my hands are 6 inches from my side.
Breathing is still the factor of trying to lift my arms.  I focus to lift my arms only when I am taking a breath but when I exhale, the arms lower.  Depending on my focus, they may not lower all the way down.  Doing this for 10 minutes will were you out.
The goal is to bring your hands above your head to try to bring your hands together in symmetry by connecting the fingers.  You will fell the intensity of your energy going from finger to finger.  This intensity will allow you to dock your fingers together without any misalignment.  Don't try to rush it.  That will lead to misalignment.
The standing is the peek of this mediation.  Sometimes it takes me a year to reach this because of different situation that occur in my life.  If you are able to reach this and touch your fingers, you will begin to travel to amazing places in you mind.  Your sub-conscious has alot to say so don't be afraid to listen.
