Any new ideas as to why she chose the name Pomegranate are welcome! We have already heard that in Israel they drink Pomegranate tea to soothe a sore throat. Apparently the rinds contain an astringent that reduces inflammation.
Hilary Lawton has sent us an email to point out that Pommodoras, Lithuanian for Pomegranate, means apple of gold. Thanks Hilary

june 2006 - Well, how long has it been this time? Only a few years! Tara is still in France! She's still singing but this time specializing in schools and libraries - storytelling and nursery rhymes and all in French. Probably time for the French version of this site eh?
2002 - Hi folks. Figured it's really about time I pulled my finger out and updated this site. Sorry about the delay - all the usually excuses apply: really busy; never a terminal nearby when you need one, kidnapped by man-eating canibals in the outer mongolian desert (no offense to any man-eating Outer Mongolian canibals reading this - all publicity is good publicity, right?). Southern Hemisphere tour all over. Tara now well and truly back on top (and missing down under like mad) having totally failed to extend her visa. Old Tour dates will be appended to the information page for reference. Meanwhile, Tara will be in France till August, but booking are invited for later in Summer as this year's tour hasn't been finalised.
New things of interest on the site include a review of a recent Cara Dillon gig and some great new links (see the fan page).
P.S. A huge thank you to everyone who made last years tour such a success. It was an amazing experience.
