Rugby is a sport that requires all body types.  Being a hulking mass doesn't automatically put you in the running to be a good rugby player. There are different body types for each position. Where as football players are looking for the power and short bursts, rugby players sustain their play through out the 80 minutes they are on the field.  Combine wrestling, soccer and football and you have rugby. AND REMEMBER, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY-most of the Americans who play rugby started with little or no experience.
