REMEMBERING VERSACE: The special performance Sunday night's performance at La Scala in Milan to honor the late Gianni Versace will conincidentally be held precisely a decade after the designer's murder. July 15 was the only available date for the renowned Milanese opera house, until 2010. "I really didn't care about the date, September would have worked just fine, so I guess it's a sign,'' joked Donatella Versace. "It was meant to be. I can already see Gianni shaking the crystal chandelier and directing the ballet."

Donatella Versace's daughter Allegra turned 21 on Saturday with a lavish party at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. And in true Hollywood style, a snitch says Donatella hired a celebrity wrangler to make sure the event had sufficient star power.

Ten years after his tragic death, Gianni Versace is getting a street named after him in Milan.

Milan's Mayor Letizia Brichetto-Arnaboldi Moratti and the Teatro della Scala will stage a series of special events next month to pay tribute to Versace on the 10th anniversary of his death.
