The Versace SpA was founded 1978 in Milan by Gianni Versace.
The Versace SpA produces several fashion lines, porcelain, sheets,perfumes, glasses, watches
and owns the Palazzo Versace hotel on the famous australian Gold Coast and a newly built in Dubai.
Today, the Versace SpA is in sole possession of the Versace family.
Since her 18th birthday 06/30/2004 Allegra Versace owns 50 % of the Gianni Versace SpA,
30 % are held by Santo Versace and 20 % by Donatella Versace.
While Santo Versace is responsible for the financial issues,
Donatella Versace adopted 1997 the artistic leadership for Versace.
She was at that time already responsible for the very successful Versus by Versace line.
The Versace SpA introduced 1997 the first steps for an entry at the Stock Exchange
but the tragic death of Gianni Versace foreclose further steps in that direction.
Desptie owning 50% of Versace Allegra Versace is unlike her uncles daughter Francesca Versace

not interested in the fashion biz and studies acting in the USA.

Giancarlo di Risio the former CEO of IT Holding and Fendi became CEO of the Gianni Versace SpA.
He discontinued some lines and sold some assets as the Manhattan mansion of the Versace family and

according to some sources also the Versace family mansion on Lake Como.
