Tagline - "If I get hit in the face, you fuckers are all dead!"
Teams
: Maciej, Tommy, Dylan, Matthew S., and Neil vs. Robbie, Patrick, Peter, and Corenton.
Score: a 11-10 squeaker for Mac's puke'ish yellows.
Game Rating (out of 10): 8 - slow start, but a nice finish.
Notable absentees:  Jordan (hockey), Josh, Jacob (early Christmas shopping), Matthew C., Taylor.
Offensive Player of the Game: Matthew S - The definition of a spark plug.
Defensive Player of the Game: Peter - Worked hard to get in the way of opponents.
Special Teams Player of the Game
: Corenton.  4 TDs on his debut?  Alrighty then.
Pitch and Weather
: Just when one thinks the dust is nyah, it blahs right back.  The pitch was also literred with kids and teachers, many of the latter stopping to say hi to former students.  Dylan, in particular, looked particularly thrilled to see his teachers of old.
Summary
: Despite a french invasion of the special teams, Rob's reds came up short to Mac's pukey yellows on Thursday night.  The winning squad was helped by the 4 TDs of Matthew S., and a puffy and ailing Neil added 2.  Debutant Corenton fired in 4 TDs on special teams, with leading scorer Pat putting up a solid 3 in a losing cause.
Bogus Moment of the Day
- Broken ankles all around.  At least three cases where ankles were broken with ridiculous moves, the most notable one being Peter on a fumbling Dylan.
Player Ratings (out of 10, 4 being the lowest):
Robbie.
- 7; Didn't up numbers of previous games, and looked less confident.
Maciej
- 8.5; Threw with speed and accuracy, a la Peyton Manning.
Patrick - 8; Proving to be an endzone threat once again this season.
Neil
- 8; His speed evened the playing field.  Sat out due to injury for long stretches.
Peter - 8.5; 2 TDs, 6 HOT, 1 KTD, great all around performer.
Tommy - 7; Defensively good, but the lack of offensive confidence is killing his numbers.
Corenton - 8; A demon on special teams, but dropped a few key passes on offence.
Matthew S. - 9; Game's MVP by far.  Flashes of sheer brilliance.
Dylan - 7.5; Worked very hard at all three positions played and was rewarded.
